Official Opening Toekomstmuziek!!!

Dear all!!

Woooow, what a ride it already has been, since our soft opening the 3rd of June So many awesome, talented musicians have already played at Toekomstmuziek and so many magical moments we have shared already as well. We’re super thankful for all the love, there are just no words to describe it. The movement is moving and the community growing, we can’t wait to further embark on this journey together!!
In this regard we are super stoked to invite you all to our official opening party Friday the 1st of July!!! We really can’t wait to share this moment with you guys and to see all the new friends that we’ve met and made the last couple weeks at Toekomstmuziek connect and vibe with all of our friends from before!!!

Sooo, the (craft-) beer will be flowing, the street food sizzling and the music banging coming Friday the 1st of July!!

The music banging you say…? Yeaahhhh!!! For our opening party we have an awesome line-up!!

Come early to share this moment with us and to pick your spot on our terrace to chill and enjoy the sun with a cool glass of (craft-) beer, a glass (or bottle) of our wines from “Wilde Wijnen” and a yummy Smash Burger or a bucket of Asian Crispy Chicken Wings

“If Spinvis and Nirvana would bear a child” Died would be it (for those of you who don’t know Spinvis, do look it up:-)). Died is the four-man “Nederpop” band of maker and songwriter Diederick van Rijsewijk. With his poetry, stories and adventures of love, sex and frustrations he takes you on a ride into his journeyful fantasies. Dream away (or be shocked:-p) by his absurdist and abstract music and songs. Died is raw, edgy, smooth, abundant and intimate

·  21.00h – SWEETGODANIMALS

SWEETGODANIMALS is a four piece dreampop group, all the way from Dokkum (NL). Their danceable popmusic gets complemented with a cinematic show. An exciting combination.  SWEETGODANIMALS recently played in a sold out AFAS live together with New Wave pioneers ‘New Order’. They also headlined the SummerSounds 2019 festival in Bremen (DE). After the release of their debut album ‘Distant’, a tour followed and the band got selected for Popronde 2019 (NL)

·  23.00h – 0.00h – Pilon

Producer Sven Dylan joined forces with writer/vocalist Sven Wolffers to create a deep, rhythmic yet very melodic vibe. With Dylan’s brother Jelle playing acoustic electric beats, the dynamic of the act goes from vocal electro indie to deephouse and pounding EDM beats, and everything in between. Influences: RÜFÜS DU SOL, Moderat, Alex Vargas, Weval, Bonobo, Tycho

·  0.00h – 1.30h – Saebo

At a young age Saebo got mesmerized by electronic music, synthesizer music at large. Names like Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield and in perticular Jean-Michel Jarre has brought a big influence to Saebo as an electronic dance dj/producer

·  1.30h until closing – Sylva de Luna

Sylva started her DJ career because she deeply loves everything about music. She took her first lessons in 2013 from DJ Slave who already had a lot of experience, especially in tech house and techno. Over the years music became a very important topic to her and in 2018 continued with learning. Clay van Dijk with great music taste and spinning techniques helped her a lot to find her music style. She knew for sure that she wanted to grow seriously with music.  From that time on she’s been really serious about music taking every opportunity to play in the weekends at small parties, live streams such as After12 and several shows on Proton Radio. Her Music style is very melodic and deeply sensitive from progressive house, deep house, organic, oriental, classics, to melodic techno.

Yeaaaahhh!! We can’t wait to share the love!!! See you all the 1st of July!!! Remember “Het leven is om te delen!” (Life is for sharing:-))!!! For those of you who don’t know what it means yet, ask around at the party!!:-) O, and everybody is welcome the 1st of July, it’s not a private party, so don’t hesitate to bring friends & family!
