In Concert: Eylan

“Eylan” is the solo project of the Spanish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist
Ángel M. Álvarez.

After many years of leading bands (“Akeroa” & “Lo Nunca Dicho”), releasing records,
and touring in Spain, he has begun a new chapter of his career by moving to
Amsterdam and bringing “Eylan” to life. He delivers deeply emotional lyrics and
patiently-crafted melodies with indie/folk songs influenced by the work of artists such as
James Bay, The Tallest Man on Earth, Phoebe Bridgers, Sam Fender and The Fray.

His first single will be released in December 2022 and it will be followed by his debut
album in 2023, which will include 12 tracks and has been recorded in the prestigious
Metropol Studios in Madrid, under the production of Jimmy Comamala.

In a world of fast-consumed culture, Eylan’s songs stand out like the sun rising, clearing
the sky after a storm. His smooth vocals are well paired with his music in a dance of
delicacy and gravity. These songs are worth tasting slowly, minding every detail that
travels lightly to one’s ears.
