In Concert: Leah Rye

Leah Rye challenges you to dream with her in a world encompassed in mystery and melancholy. After entering her imagination, her haunting presence ensures it’s impossible to leave by creating a tension reflected in her music as alternating grooves, dark sounds and vast contrasts. Her voice acts as a beacon through the nebulous mist formed by many interlaced styles such as inde and jazz.

On July 9th 2021 she released her debut EP with 2 sold out shows at Bitterzoet Amsterdam and a small tour including venues as Patronaat Haarlem, Manifesto Hoorn and Neushoorn Leeuwarden.

The EP called “Elusive”, reflects a period of movement, development and discomfort. The timeless songs fit her “Future-Dream-Pop” genre perfectly. Playing with different time measures and organic sounds leaves you with Elusive; it makes you wanna dance in the rain.
