Paradiso Indiestad presents: Tapir! + Moving
Main – Tapir:
Tapir! is een zeskoppige band uit Londen en vermengt elementen van indie, folk en postpunk tot een filmisch geluid. In 2023 debuteerde de band met een EP ‘Act 1 (The Pilgrim)’ waarop een tweede EP genaamd ‘Act 2 (Their God)’ volgde. Dit jaar werden de twee EP’s samengevoegd tot een volledig album, wat resulteerde in een verhalend, poëtisch project.
Support – Moving:
Moving is a four-piece from Haarlem, the Netherlands. Brothers Anne, (a chess pro disguised as a songwriter) and Bep (the youngest of the bunch) started making music together as kids in their childhood home. Not long after, they befriended Elliott (50% British, 100% golden pipes) and Tim (piano player, turned jazz bassist, turned technical backbone). Music was at the heart of a friendship born in the schoolyard, and which blossomed around the kitchen table and in the city in which they grew up. The friends found meaning and purpose in melodious pop songs. Over time, these songs took on a distinctive melancholic sound, amplified by the intense energy of their intimate live performances.
