stay away from dante! (Emmanuel Adomah Boateng) of in het kort Dante is een artiest/producer/songwriter uit Amsterdam-Zuidoost.
Hij is geïnspireerd door een veelheid aan artiesten zoals The Beach Boys, The Strokes, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Tyler, the creator en Kanye West.
Op 18-jarige leeftijd begon hij met het produceren. Door het zien van video’s van zijn idolen besloot hij zichzelf piano en gitaar te leren. Dit is goed te horen in zijn muziek door zijn persoonlijke speelstijl.
Dante probeert met zijn muziek gevoelens van liefde, jeugd en soortgelijke emoties in mensen op te wekken. Dit doet hij met zijn persoonlijke teksten en dromerige instrumentals. Daarnaast is hij gedreven om de creatieve horizon van de Nederlandse muziekindustrie te verbreden door zijn muziek en kunst op een unieke manier te presenteren.
Creeper Mane:
Creeper Mane is a multidisciplinary artist. From music, directing & styling to his “The Flava” syrup, he doesn’t limit himself to one form of expression only. As he In-bodies hip hop, punk & pop culture he is free spirited, confident & not afraid to address heavier topics in his art whether personal or societal. Self reflection plays a big part in his music due to his honest & raw approach to it.
After his debut EP ‘Gotsta Keep it funky’ which came out in 2018, Creeper Mane is back with his debut album ‘Striclty for my D.A.W.G’Z’ which will come out June 2nd. We’re excited to have the luxe flex shouting artist bless the stage at the Ceremony once again at our next edition.
Alken:
Alken is an Artist-Producer who abides by a research based creation process.
His electronic based tracks are usually described as eclectic and rhythmically dense.
His latest endeavour is the cultivation of a genre called Nyun Skwala.
Which deconstructs elements from Surinamese [south-america] percussion music and moulds them into contemporary formats. – Ruben Aio
Entrance is free/donation based. 100% of the donation go to the musicians and 10% of the bar- and kitchen revenue. Hope to see you Saturday!
