MRIGZ ’N’ GHET // @mrigzghet

The most well-rounded and longest (still) active Slovenian hip-hop duo. Both Mrigz (Darjan Jeličić) and Ghet (Benjamin Džinić) come from one of the main centers and hotbeds of Slovenian rap: Velenje. They are both members of extended Velebor family, and they are known to often cooperate with the coastal part of Slovenian hip-hop scene. Although both of them produce and perform successfully as individuals, in addition to quite a few singles, they released 3 joint albums: ‘Mrigz ‘n’ Ghet Hitz’ (2011), ‘Vse’ (2019) and ‘Še’ (2020). With their original lyrics and attractive beats, they will surely shake Toekomstmuziek.

DRILL // @drillito

Drill (Andrej Bučar) is a songwriter, producer and owner of the music label ‘Komora’. He comes from a coastal city, Izola, and is convinced that in rap you have to be honest and write lyrics without bullsh***ing. It has been 15 years (2008) since the release of his first album, ‘Masaker’, as part of the duo R.I.C. His most recent, already 5th solo album, ‘Rojeni da blestimo’, was released last year (2022).

MASAYAH // @m_a_s_a_y_a_h

Masayah (Mia Puhar Rodin) is the author of socially critical compositions that touch upon youth, inequality and discrimination, and addiction to technology. She comes from Ankaran, another coastal city, and last year (2022) released her first album entitled ‘H2SO4’. The collection of Slovenian rebel poetry bears the same name, in which she collaborated with prof. Igor Saksida.

DJ DENZO // @the_denzo

DJ Denzo (Denis Jeličić) also originates from Velenje, Slovenia, and has been living in Amsterdam for years. He played in number of clubs and festivals in Slovenija. As a big fan of hip-hop, his selection of beats will definitely lift you up and make you dance.

SHANKEE PO // @shankee_po

Shankee Po (Urban Jug) is a Slovenian producer and performer who lives and creates in Amsterdam. In 2020, he released his first album ‘Dirty laundry’, where he surprised with a fusion of different musical genres, from fat beats to dance electronics. Last summer (2022) he joined forces with LP and recorded his first music video for the remix of the track ‘Space Cowboyz’.

DJ GHOST

A well known DJ GHOST (Rotterdam) played in Toffler, Museumnacht, Community, Anda, Weelde, Worm and Bird is just a small part of the venues and events that this Rotterdam based DJs has shown his skills. He blends old school and new school hip hop in the smoothest way possible.

BOR$ALEANO

Slovenian producer and DJ active for many years with two released albums, who with his ensures debauchery at parties in Ljubljana’s clubs. He is known for his chopped & screw style combined with heavy bass lines and 808 beats.
