In Concert: Leah Rye

Leah Rye is fascinated by dreams. She bathes herself in a surreal world full of mysticism and melancholy. Right before the global pandemic she underwent a six date UK tour, with the Amsterdam-based songwriter not sitting still when everything around her did. In her music, Leah Rye continuously searches for her own identity, both as an artist as a person, as well as the contrast between light and dark. Last year’s EP Elusive was marked by two sold out release shows at Amsterdam’s iconic Bitterzoet, as well as a small nationwide tour. Her debut solo album is almost ready to see the light of day, with first glimpses coming in April 2023.
