Surfband Stories from Shamehill verlaat het strand en neemt je mee op een instrumentale reis door de woestijn. De met reverb doordrenkte, ongepolijste sound van de band zou niet misstaan in een obscure Quentin Tarantino film. Meedogenloze uptempo knallers en plain ol’ wave riders.

De band, bestaande uit gitarist Joris de Haan, drummer Arend Keeman en bassist Marco Stolker, rekt de grenzen van zijn genre op zonder de nalatenschap van Dick Dale en de Treble Spankers uit het oog te verliezen.

Surf act Stories from Shamehill leaves the beach and take you on an instrumental journey through the desert. The band’s reverb drenched sound wouldn’t look out of place in an obscure Quentin Tarantino movie. Relentless upbeat stompers and plain ol’ wave-riders.

The band, consisting of guitarist Joris de Haan, drummer Arend Keeman and bassist Marco Stolker, stretches the boundaries of its genre without losing sight of the legacy of Dick Dale and the Treble Spankers.
