We Live For Live – 1st Edition

This Thursday night the 28th of July, Toekomstmuziek presents the first edition of: We Live For Live Band Night!!

During “We Live for Live”, 4 live acts get showcased at our venue at Danzigerbocht 29, in the Houthavens in Amsterdam During these nights we combine different musicgenres and styles of live acts to really create an eclectic explosion and celebration of music as a whole!!! Our goal is to really come together, not although, but because we all have different backgrounds. Life, music, art, love is for sharing so let’s come together to enjoy beautiful music live in an intimate setting

For our first edition we have an awesome line up! To first warm up we open the evening at 18.00h with a DJ and some wonderful Indonesian food (kitchen is open from 18.00 – 22.00h)
– 20.00h we open the live program with a young band from Amsterdam. called “Breinschade”. Prepare yourself for a musical, instrumental, electric atmospheric journey.

– 21.00h Liam Pek and band will take the stage and bring an artistic mix of soul, pop, seventies & rock. Beautiful songs, undefined in style, defined in depth, punch and groove.

– 22.00h May Evans, a singer songwriter from Rotterdam now living in Amsterdam will fill the venue up with her warm Dutch neo soul, 90’s RnB and Dream Pop. Her songs so poetic, full of emotion and live & love experiences.

– 23.00h Pilon will take the venue into higher atmospheres. Deep instrumental electronic music that will definitely make you close your eyes and float away while dancing

Entrance is free/donation based. 100% of the donation go to the musicians and 10% of the bar- and kitchen revenue. Hope to see you this Thursday the 28th of July!

Food: Yes!! We have a kitchen as well with very nice Indonesian Toko Food!:-p)
